Bologna is "the capital" of my region - Emilia Romagna - and a town rich in history for its strategic position between North and Central Italy. Its medieval heritage is still present in the town. Have a look here!
Over 9 centuries ago, the first university of the world was created under the still existing porticos. I will show you the towers, the ancient churches, the old palaces and the city centre, with a special eye on the abundant, rich foods which are famous worldwide. Ragu alla Bolognese, Tortellini, mortadella (in some parts of the world called "Bologna") the cured meats and the unforgettable lasagna will be part of this tour and they are as important as the monument heritage to understand how people live and who are the Italians of this part of Italy.
Not far, in Modena there is an other great attraction of the region: Museo Ferrari.
